Land Development


 

Members of the MC Engineering team were responsible for managing construction of major utilities and public works infrastructure to support master planned communities and related roadway, drainage, water and wastewater facilities. Related services included planning, demand forecasting, and program management for water supply, transmission, storage, transportation, drainage, and wastewater treatment facilities.  Services included project management for a wastewater treatment plant expansion and new regional wastewater treatment plant in Lincoln, CA.  Members of the MC Engineering team implemented a regional groundwater supply program, reviewed and coordinated CEQA documents, provided design review and oversight, value engineering, contract preparation, bidding, and construction management.  This effort also included coordinating with the Regional Board for new Title 22 facility permits.

Placer County Land Development, Roseville, Ca. -Mr. Relyea acted as project manager/designer on 200 acre development, the largest in Placer County.  Duties included grading for the entire site, improvement plans for villages, Final Map determination, conditions of approval, relocation of a major canal, Lake Management Plan, Sewer Study utilizing Sewer CAD, design exceptions to the Specific Plan, staking of roadways,  managing of survey requests and checking of cut sheets, coordination of erosion control, field meetings and managing construction related issues.  Managed tree removal and created overall tree report involving over 25,000 trees.  Was also responsible for meeting coordination and drafting of plans using AutoCAD and LDD

Water Supply Development and Planning, Tehama County California.  Mr. Carey directed engineers and provided planning services for 3700 lot master planned community.  Project included preparing related engineering in order to comply with SB 610 and 221.  Directed the development of multiple groundwater wells and test holes to prepare a localized groundwater model in order to verify long-term water supplies.  Coordinated water supply studies with Department of Health Services, DWR, and County Water Resources staff.  Managed the pre-design efforts for a membrane bioreactor (MBR) wastewater reclamation facility and related waste discharge permitting with the Regional Water Quality Control Board.  Directed the preparation of a water master plan, preliminary system layouts and pre-design level engineering for major water supply, storage, and pumping facilities to support the community.  Prepared budgets, estimates, schedules and related technical data to support a finance plan and the formation of a new CSD and water district.  Provided planning oversight for interchange improvements on I-5.

City of Lincoln Infrastructure Improvements, Lincoln California. Mr. Pedri managed the design and construction of over 1.0 billion dollars of infrastructure additions and improvements; from streets, drainage, water, sewer, parks, airport and public service facilities, including development agreement(s) and conditions.
