Project Desciption

MC Engineering managed the instillation of approximately 10,000 new meters and related AMI system on behalf of the City of San Bruno in the San Francisco Bay Area. The project included removing old meters in relatively older parts of the City while addressing related issues associated with aging infrastructure and various customer issues. MC Engineering led weekly construction meetings, coordinated importation of electronic meter reads into the City billing data bases, prepared GIS based progress maps, resolved anomalies in data, and verified AMI system performance prior to approval of installation contractor pay requests.
